We are Danielle and Alexander Gamelin, 16 year old brother and sister twins
from North Merrick, Long Island, New York. We are working toward a dream
we've shared since we were three years old. An Olympic dream. Ice dance
is not something we just do, ice dance is our passion!
But our passion and commitment just aren't enough
for us to reach the top because reaching the top takes
years of intensive training and it takes a lot
of money. Considerably more than our family
alone can provide year after year.
For us, like for many competitive figure skaters
across the country, to continue meeting our training
and competition expenses, we must rely on contributions
from businesses and individuals just like you visiting our
web site right now.
To help us continue in our development as competitive figure skaters, a training fund has
been set up for us through the well-established New England Amateur Skating Foundation.
All donations made on our behalf to the NEASF, whether made by individuals, small
businesses or corporations, are tax-deductible under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The full amount of each donation goes toward paying for our skating expenses. Our parents
submit our skating bills to the fund, and the fund pays the bills directly.
Each and every dollar contributed to our training fund helps us enormously. It helps pay for ice
time, coaching and equipment fees, costumes, and competition expenses. If you can make a
donation of $200, $500, $1000 or more to our training fund, please do so. Your act of generosity
is a legitimate tax deduction for you and a future for us.
Your donation will be acknowledged by us promptly with documentation for your tax records and
a personal letter with our deepest appreciation. To learn more about our training fund or to make
your tax-deductible contribution click here.
Thank You
